I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-R) who has postgraduate training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy as well as Trauma Studies from the Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis. I graduated with a Master of Social Work from Fordham University in 2009. In addition to my private practice, I've also worked with adolescents and adults at the Blanton-Peale Counseling Center in Manhattan and the Long Island Consultation Center in Queens as well as at the City’s Employee Assistance Program with people presenting with substance abuse, domestic violence, debt and mood disorders that affected their ability to work and manage their lives.
I am a warm, supportive, interactive therapist who works collaboratively to fit your individual needs. I integrate different treatment modalities such as Psychodynamic, Relational, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to meet my clients’ needs. Setting up an initial consultation with me will help you know if I am the right therapist for you.
